Fire Emblem Heroes | Sophia Guide and Analysis

Sophia is from the world of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. She is one of the Arena bonus characters in the April 4 Season.

Sophia is a shaman of Nabata. She is a half-dragon and a half-human but she can not transform into one as she doesn't possess a Dragonstone. She can also see the future. An added trivia: She is about one century old.

Sophia is a Red Orb unit and can be yours through summoning or character Special maps. Her rarity is 3★ - 4★ with the movement speed of an Infantry.

You can get Sophia in a Red Orb Summon or through her Special Map. As a Red Tome Infantry unit we can compare her to Tharja. Their HP and ATK is almost the same with only 1 point difference. Once you upgraded Sophia to 5★ she can outmatch Tharja when it comes to DEF (28 vs 23) and RES (29 vs 20). Tharja only beats her on SPD at 34 vs 19.

*Sophia's rarity at 5★ is accomplished via Unlock Potential.

Fenrir is found in various Fire Emblem Series and is usually wielded by end-game bosses. It doesn't have any additional effects aside from having 13 Might Points and a 2 tile Range.

Special Skills:

• Dragon Gaze • Dragon Fang

Dragon Gaze can grant an additional ATK +30% and Dragon Fang can grant ATK +50%.

Passives Skills:

• Warding Blow (1/2/3)

This skill can grant RES (+2/+4/+6) to Sophia if she initiates the attack.

• Fortify RES (1/2/3)

This skill can give RES (+2/+3/+4) to adjacent allies through their next actions at the start of each turn.

Sophia | Final Evaluation:

Basing on Stats, a 5★ Sophia can match Tharja. But with her low SPD and her Fenrir+ Weapon, she got stuck in a low tier ranking. If you want to have Sophia in your team, put her together with Eirika, Hinoka, Laslow, Mathew or Ryoma. These characters have Hone Speed 3 that can grant SPD+4 to adjacent allies. Let us just hope that SPD +4 buff she'll get is enough to amplify her SPD.
