5 Paranormal Objects You Need To Start Using - The Sims 4 Guide

This guide will walk you through five paranormal objects you should start using in The Sims 4. Each object offers unique benefits that can greatly enhance gameplay, especially when living in a haunted house.

Seance Table

The Seance Table is essential if your Sim lives in a haunted house residential lot. It allows your Sim to train their Medium skill and provides various moodlets starting at level one.

By using the Seance Table, your Sim can sense the spiritual volatility of the house to find out how haunted it is. Performing a ceremony will reduce hauntings and grant a confident moodlet.

Keep in mind that your Sim’s energy drains quickly while performing ceremonies. At level two, you can host seances with other Sims. At level three, you unlock Invoke the Dead and Bonehilda. Invoke the Dead summons ghosts, while Bonehilda helps clean, cook, and socialize.

At level four, you can perform a Ghastly Ritual, temporarily turning your Sim into a ghost for four hours. At level five, you can draw a Seance Circle anywhere, which reduces energy loss and improves interactions with specters.

Helping Hand

The Helping Hand has two major uses in haunted house residential lots. It causes Guidry the Ghost to appear nightly. If you prefer not to see him, you can disable his appearance using this object.

You can also enable Heroic Mode, which doubles satisfaction points but increases haunting intensity. Outside of haunted lots, the Helping Hand is purely decorative.

Unassuming Candy Jar

The Unassuming Candy Jar can be received as a reciprocal gift from specters. Selecting Eat Forbidden Candy grants a +2 Energized moodlet for three hours.

During this time, your Sim’s energy slowly replenishes. Only one candy per day can be consumed.

Soul Scraps

Soul Scraps are also obtained from specters as reciprocal gifts. Choosing Absorb Soul Scrap will reduce your Sim’s age and remove all sad moodlets.

Specter Sips

Specter Sips come in bronze, silver, and gold goblets. They are earned by giving gifts to specters. Drinking one increases a random skill level and provides bonus experience.

These items can also be sold to the Oddity Collector for extra Simoleons.

Bonus Objects

Additional paranormal items include Specter Buddy Jars and Hello Daria Dolls. These are earned by completing gigs in the Freelance Paranormal Investigator career.

Interacting with the dolls can remove scared moodlets, making them especially helpful during intense hauntings.
